Over the past decade, Carroll County’s population grew by approximately 27% from 87,268 residents in 2000 to 110,527 residents in 2010, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The 23,259 additional persons helped the county’s overall population to occupy 39,187 out of 44,607 residences, an 88% rate of occupancy.
