Construction crews were out in force last Friday to pour concrete for the soon-to-be-opened bridge on Cross Plain Hulett Road.
The new bridge, which will include a sidewalk for foot traffic, is being built to replace a previous bridge destroyed in the flooding of September 2009. Depending on weather conditions, the new bridge is expected to open in approximately a month.
